12. - 14. March 2021, Maimarkthalle Mannheim
Official construction time is from Wednesday, 10 March 2021 to Thursday, 11 March 2021, from 8 am to 8 pm daily. To safeguard against theft it is compulsory to adhere to these construction deadlines. We ask all exhibitors to ensure that at least one person is present at the stand until the end of construction time.
At the end of construction time the halls will be vacated by security staff. If any company has not completed construction by this time, prolongation of construction time can only be granted if a member of security staff is hired at the cost of the exhibiting company to supervise the construction of said exhibition stand. The cost of hiring a member of security staff is approx. €25 per hour plus VAT.
During construction it is possible to drive into the Maimarkt premises (access via Gate 2 = TOR 2) with a valid parking pass or by paying a deposit of €50 per car and €100 per truck. Parking passes are issued with a BARCODE and must be presented for scanning at the entrance and also at the exit. A trailer counts as a separate vehicle. The deposit is refunded on leaving the grounds before the end of the construction period (Wednesday 8 pm). After this time the deposit expires.
Opening times for visitors:
Friday to Sunday, 12 - 14 March 2021 from 9 am - 5 pm.
Opening times for exhibitors:
1 hour before und after the opening times for visitors During the fair it is only possible to enter the fairground by presenting your exhibitor pass, which will be sent to you after all invoices have been paid. If you have not received your pass(es) by the start of construction time, please proceed on arrival to the Project Management office on the upper floor of the Maimarkthalle, to pay your invoices and collect your passes. Cheques cannot not accepted as a means of payment.
Dismantling is on Sunday, 14 March 2021 from 5.15 pm to 10 pm, and on Monday, 15 March 2021 from 8 am to 6 pm. Please note that on the final day of the fair, dismantling must not start before the fair ends at 5 pm. The hall doors will be opened at 5.30 pm to for vehicles to enter the halls.
Car parking (up to 3.4 tons)
A limited number of parking spaces are available for exhibitors within the Maimarkt premises (access via Gate/TOR 2). The price for a car parking pass within the Maimarkt premises is €42.02 + VAT and can be ordered via the Online Order System. Parking passes must be displayed visibly in the vehicle. Parking passes are valid on construction and exhibition days. If you wish to park outside the Maimarkt premises on visitor car parks P6 bis P8, you will have to pay a maximum of €5.00 per day.
Charges for trailers are the same as for cars. If you wish to park your trailer within the Maimarkt premises, you must order an additional CAR parking pass for €42.02 € + VAT. If you wish to park your trailer outside the Maimarkt premises you can also park it on visitor car parks P6 bis P8, for a maximum fee of €5.00 per day.
Truck parking (3.5 - 7.5 tons)
A limited number of truck/lorry parking spaces are available within the Maimarkt premises (access via Gate/TOR 2). The price for a truck parking pass is €63.03 + VAT and can be ordered via the Online Order System. Outside the Maimarkt premises there are a further 20 truck spaces on parking area P4 for a fee of €10.-, which must be paid at a ticket machine.
Camper vans (not caravans) can be parked on the Campervan park at Hans-Thoma-Straße 3 in Mannheim-Neuostheim. The following fees will be charged: Parking space €10.- for 24 hours, electricity €1.- per kWh and water €1.- per 100 litres. These fees must be paid in advance at the parking ticket machine. The ticket must be displayed visibly on the windscreen inside the vehicle. A toilet is available in the technical building. The Maimarkt premises can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.
Alternatively you can spend the night in your caravan or campervan on car park P 6. There is a maximum parking fee on P 6 of €5.- per day. On P 6 there is no electricity or water and also no toilet available.
The exhibition management team will be available for exhibitors at the project management office on the upper floor of the Maimarkthalle from Thursday, 9 March 2021 until Monday, 15 March 2021.

It is not permitted to use remote controls inside the halls, with the exception of 2.4 GHz systems. In exceptional cases written permission by the trade fair management can be given to handle remote controls without a HF module. For security reasons due to the many activities inside and outside the halls we ask you to follow this request.
Substances which are inflammable or create toxic gas such as polystyrene etc. are not permitted. Decoration materials must comply with DIN 4102 B 1, i.e. flame resistant. Flammable materials can only be used if either
- a certificate of B1 status can be presented
- the material has been impregnated with an approved flame retardant
- if non-flammability can be proved in a flame test
Otherwise the decoration material must be removed. Confirmation of flame resistance or of the approved impregnation can be obtained through the Building and Safety department (Bauordnungsamt) of the Friedrichshafen town council.
Gas and propane/butane bottles are forbidden. An exception can only be made if a written request is made in advance to the Friedrichshafen Building and Safety department.
The distribution of any type of printed material outside of your booth as well as on the car parks is prohibited. Please adhere to this rule.
