The Maimarkt site is located directly next to the A 656 freeway and has freeway access in all directions.
Mannheim main station is an ICE hub. Rail travelers can take the S-Bahn (S1, S2, S3 or S4) to the Mannheim Arena/Maimarkt stop (SAP-Arena S-Bahn station). From there, buses and the light rail will take you to the main entrance to the Maimarkt grounds.
Alternatively: The walk from the S-Bahn station (SAP-Arena) to the Maimarkt area is 1,200 m and takes about 10 minutes.

Routing
Public transportation
If you travel by public transport to the SAP-Arena station, you can walk 1,200 meters to the Maimarkt grounds or you can take the bus lines 45 or 50 two stops further to the Maimarkt for a fee! The Stadtbahn 6 also runs to the Maimarkt!
The bus and streetcar stops are right next to the SAP-Arena station!

The footpath leads past the SAP Arena in the direction of the highway! The main entrance to the Maimarkt grounds is just a few meters behind the freeway!

Parking spaces
Sufficient parking spaces for visitors are available in parking lots P6 to P8.
The parking fee is a flat rate of €6 per day.
Two disabled parking spaces are located to the right of the main entrance. You can park here free of charge with an AG permit (exceptional disability). If these are occupied, people with disabilities must park in P6!
E-charging stations
E-charging stations (12 charging points with up to 300 kW charging capacity) are available in front of the large parking lot P 20 (accessible via the A656 freeway in the direction of Mannheim). Parking lot P 20 is closed during the trade fair, but the e-charging stations are accessible! From there you can reach the Maimarkt grounds on foot via the bridge!
Caravan and camper pitches
Motorhomes (no caravans) can be parked on the motorhome site at Hans-Thoma-Straße 3 in Mannheim-Neuostheim (15 pitches) . The following charges apply: parking space €10/24 hours, electricity €1/1 kWh and water €1/100 liters. These fees must be paid in advance at the parking ticket machine. The parking ticket must be visibly displayed behind the windshield. A toilet is available at the technical building. Further information at www.wohnmobil-mannheim.de! The Maimarkt grounds can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can stay overnight with caravans or motorhomes in parking lot P 6 (no height restriction). The maximum parking fee for P 6 is €5 per day. There are no electricity and water connections and no toilets available in parking lot P 6.
Accommodations
See everything, stay overnight at a reasonable price: “It’s far too much for one day” – we hear this very often from visitors to our trade fairs. And it’s true: if you want to taste all the attractions of our fairs, you won’t make it in one day. Do not stress yourself and use the following accommodation search!
