MIBA Private Plant Competition 1st prize for Bernd and Ilona Rüger

This year’s MIBA Private Plant Competition was announced today, Saturday, March 7, 2026. MIBA and Messe Sinsheim GmbH congratulate Bernd and Ilona Rüger with their private plant Steinberg on winning the prize as 1st winner of this year’s MIBA Private Plant Competition. The 2nd place went to Leo Bettonviel with “Morenci Mining District” and 3rd place to Ansgar Meyring with “Ümmeling”

We would also like to thank the other participants Jürgen Heinritz, Hanns Hirblinger and Jörg Baumann.

GeraMond GmbH and Messe Sinsheim GmbH would like to thank all participants for their fantastic model railroad layouts and for taking part in the private layout competition.
